Chairman's Message

Dear Student,
Since independence India has made tremendous progress in science and technology. Benefits of the technology are reflected in agriculture, industry and service sector. However, a lot remains to be done to take the fruits of development to the underprivileged sections of our society, mostly living in rural areas and urban slums. The number of such people is so large that it calls for a socio-economic transformation and there-in lies the role of appropriate institutions and institutional mechanisms to bring them out of the clutches of poverty. As you consider your choices for higher education in Management Studies, I would like you to ponder for a moment about the HDF School of Management which offers you a socially meaningful and professionally challenging career in business management in general and rural management in particular. The School is driven by a team of highly qualified, experienced and motivated faculty. It provides the students high quality management education, including opportunity for exposure to social sector development projects for hands-on feel for one's responsibility towards society which goes beyond mere career aspirations.
